Launching the Counter Attack! Luffy and Law's Great Escape!

As brokers marvel at Caesar's haul of captives, Eustass Kid brushes the feed aside to host an alliance meeting. Inside his trashed hideout sit Scratchmen Apoo and Basil Hawkins, and a near-brawl breaks out between Kid and Apoo before Killer urges them to talk terms.

On Punk Hazard, Law has Franky torch a battleship to raise a smokescreen, then slips off his chains, explaining he had swapped the real seastone restraints for ordinary ones during his stay. He frees the others and returns Smoker and Tashigi to their own bodies, while Franky breaks away to guard the Thousand Sunny. Sanji, jolted back to strength, seizes the dragon, and Nami and Usopp ride the injured Brownbeard. Luffy's group reaches the lab and opens a shutter to let the G-5 marines inside, and as it begins to close, Zoro and Kin'emon slice the gate apart so everyone gets in.

Kid, Killer, Apoo, and Hawkins gather to discuss a three-crew alliance. Law orders Franky to ignite a ship for cover, then reveals his seastone chains were decoys he planted in advance and frees the prisoners. He swaps Smoker and Tashigi back into their own bodies, and Franky departs to protect the Sunny. The scattered crew converge while fleeing Shinokuni, with Sanji catching the dragon. Luffy's group opens a lab shutter for the marines, and Zoro and Kin'emon cut the closing gate to let the rest inside safely.

This Punk Hazard Arc installment gives speaking lines to Pekoms and Baron Tamago. Unlike the manga, where Luffy is already loose before Law notices, here Law watches Luffy break free. Anime-only additions include Franky farting before the escape and then using Coup de Boo toward the Sunny, Sanji's nosebleed over Nami's body while riding the dragon, Brook falling and being caught by Usopp, and the G-5 marines nearly despairing before the shutter opens. An animation oversight leaves Kid's nails unpainted.
