Full of Enthusiasm - Corrida Colosseum

As the swindlers once more lie about the roulette outcome, Luffy steps in and states what truly happened. The blind man proceeds to wreck the thugs, punching a crater into the restaurant floor and leaving every witness in awe. While he offers to cover the damage and walks off, he cautions Luffy that knowing his identity would do neither of them any good, which only deepens the crew's hunch that he is a figure of some fame.

Moments later, the patrons discover their possessions gone, lifted during the dust the old man stirred up. Among the missing swords, to Kin'emon's dismay, is the Shusui. A nearby puppet brushes it off, explaining that unseen fairies, longtime guardians of the island, simply take what they like. Zoro then catches a thief slipping out a window with a bundle, his blade lashed to it, and bolts after him; Sanji follows so Zoro will not wander off, and Kin'emon joins the pursuit to win the weapon back for Wano. Luffy holds back when Franky pitches a cleverer approach.

Franky grills one of the defeated thugs, who knows nothing of the SMILE Zoans or any factory but reveals that everyone has been called to the Corrida Colosseum for a grand event boasting an extraordinary reward. Inside the arena, a soldier keeps children out while the announcer stokes the crowd. He then reveals the top prize: the Mera Mera no Mi, the flame fruit once eaten by the legendary Fire Fist Ace, whose life ended at Marineford two years prior. The blind gambler looks on from the stands, and the revelation floors Luffy once Franky passes it along.

Luffy exposes the casino scam, after which the blind man crushes the cheats with a gravity-based power and declines to give his name. Fairies make off with Zoro's Shusui and other goods, prompting a pursuit by Zoro, Sanji, and Kin'emon, in the course of which Kin'emon gets separated. Franky extracts word of the Corrida Colosseum tournament from a captured thug. The arena reveals the Mera Mera no Mi as its prize, leaving Luffy stunned.

This episode introduces Thunder Soldier, Gatz, the Corrida Colosseum itself, and the Zushi Zushi no Mi. The anime reworks how Fujitora wields gravity: rather than drawing his blade to strike as in print, he first trips an assailant, evades, and then triggers the power while returning the sword to its sheath. Added scenes track Zoro, plus Sanji and Kin'emon, as the three hunt the fairy, and they show the moment Kin'emon loses the other two. While the manga had Thunder Soldier aiming his toy rifle at kids outside the arena, here he fires warning shots skyward.
