The Summit War - The Inherited Will of the Pirate King

Sengoku's memories pick up from the war of two years past, at the moment Luffy and the escaped prisoners joined the Whitebeard Pirates in their fight with the Marines. Stunning everyone watching, Luffy let loose Conqueror's Haki by accident and dropped everyone around him; he managed to free his brother so the pair could run, only for Akainu to cut Ace down. The famed captain likewise lost his life in that battle. Returning to the present, rulers from across the globe flood into the holy land for the world council, kings of far-off nations among them and, to the spectators' surprise, the Neptune Family, who have shown up only once before. Apart from the crowd, Fujitora shares a bowl of noodles with the still-concealed Ryokugyu and lays out his true reason for attending.

The flashback crests with Luffy's unintended burst of conqueror's spirit, the fleeting reach toward his brother, and the killing strike that ends Ace's life, followed soon by the great captain's own death. In the present a multitude of monarchs convenes at the holy land, and the uncommon arrival of the Neptune Family draws every gaze. Ryokugyu informs Fujitora that, although Sakazuki commanded him to remove the admiral, he has no plan to. Fujitora then declares his goal in joining the council: he intends to disband the sea's Seven Warlords.

This installment resumes the summit-war recollection from the point where Luffy arrives on the battlefield. It also depicts the Neptune Family rising to the surface. The episode is part of the Levely Arc and introduces several minor figures as well as the location Red Port.
