The 902nd episode drives Luffy, Zoro, Kiku, and Komachiyo into Bakura Town after Tama, where they cross paths with the sumo champion Urashima. When his men drag Kiku to the ring, she rejects him by lopping off his topknot, and his enraged strike brings Luffy crashing in.
Arriving in Bakura Town, Luffy and Zoro attract stares and stir up a scene without meaning to, so Luffy drops the onlookers with a burst of Supreme King Haki. Kiku recounts that the settlement had once flourished as a castle town until Orochi took control and parceled it out to his own subordinates. Without warning a sumo wrestler is flung skyward and lands atop Komachiyo, revealing a bout underway in which Urashima has been trouncing every opponent. Catching sight of Kiku, Urashima leaps to the notion that she has come to be his bride and commands his fellow wrestlers to fetch her.
Luffy and Zoro fend off a wave of wrestlers, but the men overpower them, hoist Kiku up, and deliver her to Urashima. The two pirates consider intervening, then remember that Kiku, a samurai, can look after herself. As the audience jeers her as a lowly teahouse waitress, Urashima rounds on them with insults and bends in for a kiss, only for Kiku to spring aside, unsheathe her blade, and slice his topknot away. Furious, he strikes at her, but Luffy steps between them, and the pair slam together and grapple in a ferocious deadlock.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Anime-original touches add further stretches of Urashima's sumo bouts and shots of Luffy's party watching yet more wrestlers get launched away. The manga staged the wrestlers' grab of Kiku with the trio still perched on Komachiyo, but the adaptation instead has all three drop off the beast first, sends Luffy and Zoro into the brawl, and cues Zoro to reach for his sword the instant one of them takes hold of her. The episode introduces the characters Ikkaku, Yokan, and Atagoyama, plus Urashima's Higan Harite and Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Tsuppari. It belongs to the Wano Country Arc.
