Rampage! The Prisoners - Luffy and Kid!

Caught eavesdropping from the attic above Orochi's men, Nami and Shinobu come under a flurry of spears jabbed up through the ceiling, sending Shinobu into a panic. The soldiers climb after them, but the pair scramble onto the roof and escape. Shinobu admits her breakdown stemmed from a deep dread of sharp objects. Despite being discovered, Nami walks away knowing exactly where Orochi hoards his armaments, and they flee on Shinobu's kite. En route they pass Sanji, who has drawn a long queue of customers while posing as a soba cook, though rival chefs begin watching him with suspicion.

In Udon, Luffy and Kid haul stone at a furious pace, each piling up a mountain of dango. The warden Dobon, a SMILE eater who rides inside a hippo's jaws, fumes that the two have emptied his food stores. The hippo gulps both prisoners down so Dobon can strike them within its belly. Even hampered by Seastone cuffs, Luffy and Kid overpower Dobon and send him tumbling out of the hippo's mouth, and the watching inmates cheer as the pair stroll off victorious.

The episode reorders Shinobu's confession of her fear to before the kite flight rather than during it, and adds a shot of Dobon noticing his bare pantry. It also shows Luffy and Kid slimming themselves by exhaling air to pass through the hippo, where the manga simply has them shrink. When Dobon charges, Kid moves to retaliate but Luffy holds him back, and during the takedown the hippo body is hoisted into the air. Debuts cover Kuni, Suke, Kaku, Hyo, Ibiributsu, Donannoyo, and Dobon, and the episode introduces Shinobu's Ninpo: Odako technique.
