Roger's Wish! A New Journey

Whitebeard and Roger trade blows with delight while their crews brawl alongside them. Roger, astonished that Oden can read a Poneglyph, asks Whitebeard to lend the samurai for a single year so he can reach the last island of the Grand Line. Oden agrees and joins the Roger Pirates. Their first stop is Jaya, where Oden steals food from the stores and turns it into oden stew for his new crewmates.

The battle between the two crews runs three days until a ceasefire halts it, followed by a gift exchange on the fourth, with Shanks and Buggy unnerved by the boy Teach who supposedly never sleeps. Roger explains that he believed Lodestar Island marked the end of the Grand Line, but his Log Pose dying there convinced him a final island lay beyond, its location inscribed on the Poneglyphs. He requests Oden for a year, and though Whitebeard first refuses, Oden chooses to part ways and sail with Roger alongside Toki and his infant children. Izou remains with Whitebeard while Inuarashi and Nekomamushi stow away on Roger's ship. At Jaya, unaware it is a lawless town, Oden raids the stores, fights off the criminals who blast him with a grenade, and ends the day cooking the stolen ingredients into oden stew the crew loves.

The clash between the Roger and Whitebeard Pirates, Oden's farewell to Whitebeard's crew, and his food run in Mock Town are all extended versions of the manga scenes.
