Overview

The Beardless Pirates come from the four-panel strip that Carrot titles her Fluffy Picture Book, and they exist outside the main story as a non-canon crew. Every member is defined by a shared lack of hair, a trait their very name spells out, and the group fields at least four such bald, beard-free pirates. Their flag keeps the classic skull-and-crossbones shape but adds sparkles around it, a detail meant to celebrate the skull's own baldness.

For a crew that seems fairly weak, they still managed a remarkable voyage, pushing far into the New World and eventually arriving at the Mokomo Dukedom. Getting there meant scaling the enormous elephant Zunesha, and by some unexplained means they found a route up the creature to reach the territory on its back.

Role

Once they had climbed onto Zunesha and entered the Mokomo Dukedom, the crew set about raiding and plundering, justifying the spree by appealing to the hairless creed they hold dear. Their rampage did not last, however, as Carrot, freshly installed as Duke, confronted them and insisted they explain what they were doing.

When she heard about their devotion to hairlessness, Carrot leapt at the captain, eager to rub herself against what a mink would consider a lesser mink. The captain seized on this, offering the chance to rub against him if she handed over every bit of treasure the dukedom held. Carrot nearly took the deal before Monjii scolded her out of it, ending the crew's brief moment of leverage.

Notable Members

No individual crewmate is given a name in the strip, so the Beardless Pirates are known only as a bald, beardless quartet acting together. Their captain stands out simply as the one who bargains with Carrot, dangling the chance to rub against him if she surrenders every piece of the dukedom's wealth.

Because the crew springs entirely from a lighthearted picture-book gag, its members function more as a comedic obstacle for Carrot than as a developed pirate band, and their significance rests on the joke rather than on any named roster.
