Introduced for the live One Piece Premier Show 2023, the Black Kingdom is an antagonist organization answering to Ven Vendler. The group makes its home on Atarashi Island, where its hideout serves as the staging ground for a scheme that pulls the Straw Hat Pirates and the Marines into the conflict.
Role
Leaning on Vendler's Mari Mari no Mi abilities, the faction pinned fabricated crimes on the princesses Nefertari Vivi, Shirahoshi, and Viola, getting them arrested by the World Government. The group then sent subordinates after Rebecca, only for the Straw Hats to intervene before any kidnapping could happen. The fleeing henchmen dropped an Eternal Pose that pointed straight back to their island base. When the Straw Hats and shortly afterward the Marines reached Atarashi Island, the kingdom's forces proved far too weak to repel them.
Notable Members
Ven Vendler heads the organization and supplies its central gimmick through his Devil Fruit, while Honnete rounds out the known roster. Once the truth came out, Vendler was taken into custody for the framing plot, and the wrongly accused princesses had their names cleared.
