Overview

Captained by Foxy the Silver Fox, the Foxy Pirates assembled most of their numbers by claiming opponents through the Davy Back Fight. The anime once placed the crew near five hundred bodies, but after the Straw Hats humbled them their fortunes crashed, eventually shrinking the band to just three. They headline the Long Ring Long Land Arc as antagonists and return as foils in the filler Foxy's Return and Spa Island stories.

Role

Recruitment runs entirely through the Davy Back Fight, so endless competition has made the crew genuinely athletic, even as they lean heavily on trickery and rigged contests. They split into specialized squads for the games, including the hulking Groggy Monsters under Hamburg, who smuggle illegal gear past a complicit referee, and the acrobatic Flower Cheerleaders led by Porche. Foxy himself fights capably and relies on the slowing Noro Noro Beam and gimmicks like the Gorilla Puncher robot, while skilled craftsmen keep his arsenal and the galleon Sexy Foxy in repair. Most ordinary members, however, are unremarkable and triumph only by bending the rules.

Notable Members

Before their debut the crew had wrecked the Fanged Toad Pirates, seizing their captain Kibagaeru in a five-round match. On Long Ring Long Land they challenged Luffy and cheated throughout, yet still lost the deciding bout, after which Luffy left them a clumsily redrawn flag and let them go. They later resurfaced during the Spa Island scheme and, after the timeskip, reached the New World, where Komei briefly joined before betraying them. By the Egghead Arc only Foxy, Hamburg, and Porche remain. Key figures include the captain Foxy, Hamburg, Porche, and the Groggy Monsters trio of Hamburg, Pickles, and Big Pan.
