Overview

A large crowd of Arabasta youngsters made up this band, spending their days having fun in one another's company. Koza sat at its head, while Vivi took the rank right beneath him after challenging him for leadership. Their exploits were not all lighthearted, however. A defining episode came when the children put themselves between Vivi and a pack of bandits under Agotogi who intended to abduct her.

Role

The whole friendship grew out of Koza's anger over a drought hitting his village, which pushed him to quarrel with King Cobra and storm off in tears. When Vivi taunted him as a crybaby, the pair fought, and a rematch on the edge of Alubarna later cemented her spot as the new vice leader. Once Agotogi's men made their move, the youngsters flung themselves at the bandits so Vivi could flee, and most of them were wounded doing so. Koza tracked the kidnappers, beat Agotogi, and had his left eye slashed during the struggle.

Notable Members

Koza both founded and led the clan, and he eventually departed with his father Toto to help build the town of Yuba. Vivi acted as his second-in-command. Two unnamed boys also stood out, one wearing glasses and ear-flapped headgear, the other sporting a buzz cut under a dark cap. After the band broke up, a number of past members, Okame and Kebi among them, went on to enlist in the Rebel Army that Koza would later raise.
