Overview
Seen only in the anime, this crew came together behind a dugong versed in kung-fu that hailed from Arabasta. Its entire membership consists of sea animals rallied around the dugong, which had earlier studied under Luffy. Filling out the ranks are a penguin in a black belt, a capybara built for sumo, an octopus boxer, and a cluster of Sea Lapahns.
Role
The band holds genuine muscle, having forced its way as far as the New World, and its captain has command of Armament Haki. Yet that strength was later turned against them, for on reaching the New World they ran into Breed, whose fruit power let him bind the whole crew into slavery.
Notable Members
At the head is the Kung-Fu Dugong, who put to sea after Luffy beat and then inspired him at Arabasta. While enslaved by Breed, the dugong and his Sea Lapahns snatched Caesar Clown away from the Straw Hats, sending Luffy and Law after them. Once earplugs broke Breed's hold, the captain and his animals rounded on Breed and battled him beside Luffy and Law.
