Tearoom Pirates

Introduced in the sixth movie, this so-called crew is in reality one household of pirates. Its flag carries a narrow, wide-eyed skull with no teeth to speak of, an outline that recalls both Papa's own head and, curiously, a mushroom. Because youngsters make up the bulk of the household, raw muscle is something the band conspicuously lacks.

Combat is hardly the family's specialty. Most of its members are still kids, and even the father reads as frail. Yet Papa proves the exception in a pinch: his aim and force are enough to bring down Lily Carnation with one strike, while his daughter Daisy possesses hearing far keener than normal. The clan had originally sailed to Omatsuri Island for a quiet vacation and picnic, only to be pulled into Baron Omatsuri's cruel trials, where they stumbled at the goldfish-catching game and ran.

Papa leads the household and is desperate for his children, above all his youngest, Daisy, to believe him strong, going so far as to stage a fake defeat against Chopper to keep the illusion alive. Sharp of ear, Daisy could tell the Straw Hats were still alive and even overheard her father talking Chopper into throwing their duel, yet she never lost faith in him. When the carnivorous flower seized Chopper, the family struggled uselessly to free him, and Brief afterward pulled them to safety along with Luffy. At the climax, Papa summoned his courage, stood against Omatsuri, and killed Lily with a single arrow. The crew turns up again as onlookers at the Pirates Festival on Delta Island in the Stampede film.
