Roza

Standing tall for a young girl, Roza keeps her blond hair cropped short above light brown eyes. A gray tank top leaves her midriff bare, worn with brown trousers, while a red bandana carries the family crew's Jolly Roger, matching the marks worn by her father and siblings. A blue bag often hangs at her side.

Where her younger brother and sister are easily taken in, Roza is the skeptic of the bunch and starts out refusing to trust her father. That cynicism stems from having watched him behave like a coward. Once he steps up to help bring down Omatsuri and the Lily Carnation, her opinion of him turns around and she comes to regard him as a hero.

After Roza's mother died, her father launched a pirate crew made up of nobody but the family itself. Their voyages along the Grand Line gradually eroded the respect Roza held for him as his cowardice showed, until the crew landed on Omatsuri Island. Upon her introduction, her father picked a fight with Chopper, then begged the reindeer to throw the match so his children would believe him strong, offering island secrets in trade. The ruse convinced Daisy and Rick, but Roza, fed up, branded her father a coward, shaking Rick's belief and letting Daisy down. When her father later agreed to side with Chopper and the Straw Hats, she could scarcely accept it, yet with Luffy's encouragement she urged him to confront Baron Omatsuri. The Baron's defeat and her father's acts of courage finally reconciled the two. She later turned up among the Tearoom Pirates attending the Pirates Festival in One Piece: Stampede.
