Mansion's Guards

These two sentries draw their pay from the Tessle Company and were brought on by Klahadore to keep watch over Kaya's mansion. Both favor a uniform of black suits, neckties, white shirts, and sunglasses, the eyewear dropped in the anime. The one wearing a green tie is lean, sporting a mustache, beard, and brown hair spiked at the crown, while his partner in a red tie is the bigger of the pair, clean-shaven, with slicked-back black hair left long behind.

The guards take their work seriously and would put their lives on the line for their mistress Kaya, though they have a habit of letting duty slide whenever they go on break. Stationed at the mansion's front gates, they can at least turn away ordinary nuisances and trespassers, and each carries a basic flintlock pistol. Their limits showed when Usopp beat both of them in a straight fight. Klahadore had hired the pair after Kaya's parents died, as one safeguard for her wellbeing, and the men regularly spotted Usopp near the grounds and reported it back to him.

The unit consists of the unnamed left and right guards. When Usopp slipped onto the estate to warn Kaya about Klahadore's secret identity as the pirate Kuro, the two confronted him and tried to throw him out, but he fought back and dropped them both, stunning Merry, who then opened fire on him. The guards later left on vacation with the rest of the household staff, so they never learned of the Black Cat Pirates' assault nor could they help Merry when Klahadore wounded him.
