Brachio Tank V

The Brachio Tank V is among the latest machines added to the Thousand Sunny's Soldier Dock, occupying the freshly built Dock 5. Built from Wapometal, the vehicle has a rounded main body that rolls on tank treads. Its barrel is sculpted to look like the head of a brachiosaurus and can be tilted up or down, while pulling a lever expands the cockpit. A concealed switch sprouts two mechanical legs from the rear, standing the tank upright with its gun pointing skyward so it can run rather than drive. In the anime it lets out a honking noise whenever it fires.

Cannon fire from the tank readily flattens ordinary opponents, though formidable foes such as the Numbers giants and Big Mom have weathered it without trouble. Beyond its firepower, the vehicle's defining trick is its ability to combine with the Kurosai FR-U IV. By 'docking' the two machines together, Franky assembles the towering robot General Franky, a fusion made possible by their shared Wapometal construction.

The tank made its debut during the Fishman Island Arc, when Usopp drove it out to fend off a New Fishman Pirate, with Chopper, Nami, and Pappag riding along inside. It was later dropped into one of Daruma's pitfalls, after which Franky took it over and docked it to form General Franky. During the Wano raid on Onigashima, Usopp and Chopper again piloted it, but its bulk made them impossible to hide from Big Mom, who chased them and accidentally triggered the leg transformation. Franky eventually reclaimed it once more to assemble General Franky during the fighting.
