KYP

KYP is an inhalant weapon that mimics the effects of alcohol intoxication. The Yeti Cool Brothers load it into bullets, turning the gas into a reliable tool for disabling enemies from a distance rather than relying on brute force. Its debut came when the brothers turned it against members of the Straw Hat crew.

When the gas reaches a victim's lungs, it scrambles their senses much like being drunk, sapping coordination and awareness until they collapse. Because the impairment runs on the same principle as alcohol, anyone with a strong tolerance for drink can shrug off part of the effect. Zoro and Nami both showed unusual resistance, staying functional where others would have been overwhelmed, since their bodies were used to handling liquor.

The Yeti Cool Brothers are the sole wielders of KYP. They used the gas-filled rounds to knock out Zoro, Brook, and Sanji, the last of whom was occupying Nami's body at the time. Thanks to that high alcohol tolerance, the swordsman and the navigator's borrowed form held out longer than the rest before the gas took its toll.
