Around the globe, listeners take in Vegapunk's recorded message. In the Flower Capital, Wano's people cluster around a snail found among Orochi's things, and Momonosuke is stunned to hear that Joy Boy, like Luffy, once sailed as a pirate. At the G-4 base, the imprisoned Fake Straw Hat Crew, now posing as the Kid Pirates, joke that toppling a dead Joy Boy would be simple for their captain.

Vegapunk explains that although he cracked only a few Poneglyphs, they revealed a vast war from antiquity in which Joy Boy fought those who established the World Government, a coalition of twenty kingdoms then styling itself the Allied Powers. Taking no side and unsure what ignited the clash, he stresses it was a collision of two ideologies, and that the advanced nation Joy Boy came from forged weapons beyond his power to recreate. As Mars channels his Supreme King Haki against the lab's snails, the broadcast plays on.

Edison urges Stussy to drop the dome and run, but she refuses, feeling purposeless since the Stella died. Jinbe hurries Zoro toward the Sunny while Nami warns that Marine ships are closing the northeast shore. He blames the flooding on the Ancient Weapons and warns the centuries-old war has not truly ended.
