He swats aside a leg meant for her and tells her to take Saturn on herself. The broadcast meanwhile presses forward, with Vegapunk reaffirming that the Ancient Weapons once drowned the world's continents and cautioning that some unseen party is moving to exterminate the last descendants of rare bloodlines, naming the Buccaneers, the Lunarians, and the Three-Eye Tribe.

Declaring she means to settle her grudge, Bonney trades blows with Saturn as Luffy shields her. Memories of Saturn's cruelty toward Kuma and Ginny rush back, and through tears she condemns the Five Elders as false deities, asserting that genuine gods and heroes do walk the world. Though she had ached to live as a family with her parents, she chooses to uphold their wish that she go on living. She and Luffy then loose simultaneous strikes fierce enough to shatter Saturn and send him hurtling toward the sea, drawing cheers and a smile from Kuma. The crew next catches sight of the Thousand Sunny tumbling down from above.

Vegapunk tells the world that those who endured the World Government's oppression for so long are, with grim irony, the closest to the truth, and that Roger had wished for exactly this on the day he died and set his treasure free. The words ignite the world: Hachinosu pirates pray for Blackbeard's swift return so they can pursue it, Cross Guild's people revere Buggy all the more on the assumption he saw the true history, never realizing illness kept him home, and even Marines covet it before being reminded the public's safety must come first. Luffy and Bonney drive Saturn back from the Giant Warrior Pirates' ship, and the Thousand Sunny approaches the sea. King is shown to have survived his fight with Admiral Ryokugyu and rests in an undisclosed spot.
