Summary

Riding a hired bull through the market in search of ingredients, Sanji loses himself in daydreams of dating Nami and Robin, until he catches sight of Robin strolling past a building with the masked man. She seems deaf to his shouting, and by the time he sprints over the pair has vanished. Looking up, he takes Kaku for Usopp. Reaching the Going Merry soon after, Kaku is once again taken for Usopp, this time by Zoro, who then thinks it over, catches his mistake, and demands the stranger's name.

Key Events

At Dock 1, Kalifa fills Iceburg in on the Straw Hats and the bounty they jointly carry. Iceburg presents himself together with his freshly adopted rat, Tyrannosaurus, and when Kalifa runs down his packed schedule, he point-blank refuses it, leading her to scrap every appointment and the guests to brand him unreliable. Stung, Kalifa lashes out, though it is Iceburg who ends up taking the kicks. Nami offers Kokoro's letter, whose note asks him to look over their ship, and Iceburg rips it apart the moment he reads it, confessing he disliked the lipstick print left on the page, yet he still agrees to help and proposes a tour of Dock 1 now that his day is suddenly free.

Notes

Spotting the Franky Family making off with their cash, Usopp raises the alarm to the rest. Just then Paulie, dodging his own debt collectors, vaults aboard the crew's rented bulls and routs the thieves with little trouble. Usopp thanks him for rescuing the money, but Paulie simply scoops up the suitcases and strolls off with them himself. The cover reveals what Gedatsu and Goro had dug free: a giant mole, the Dirt Boss, that brands itself the island's greatest excavator.
