Summary

Furious at seeing his fallen comrades, Tilestone hurls a strike at the bear-masked man, who shatters it with a bare fist and drops the famously strong carpenter in a single blow, throwing the others into a panic. Beyond the walls, the three remaining Straw Hats flee a swarm of shipwrights and wonder where Luffy has gone. Fed up with running, Zoro turns and plows through the crowd using the dull side of his blades, though Nami and Chopper note he is still leaving wreckage behind. Luffy, at last freed from the buildings, launches himself toward the headquarters with a Gomu Gomu Rocket.

Key Events

In his bedroom, Iceburg draws guns on Robin, naming her the sole person capable of reviving the ancient weapons recorded in the True History. He admits he holds the blueprints for Pluton, inherited from Tom, which he should have destroyed when the World Government uncovered them. Robin pins him before he can fire, and he warns that the ones truly deceived are CP9. In the President's Room, a blood-soaked Paulie clutches the documents and, collapsing, reveals they are counterfeit.

Notes

The chapter establishes that Robin's childhood bounty stemmed from the incident at Ohara, where her power to decipher Poneglyphs marked her as a threat. Iceburg suspects she intends to wield the weapons against the world. The cover continues the Gedatsu serial with the men's bath at Ukkari Hot-Spring Island.
