Chapter 347

The four remaining Straw Hats and Paulie crash into the bedroom to find a wounded Iceburg ringed by Robin and the CP9 agents. When Lucci's voice confirms that the carpenter's trusted colleagues are in truth his foes, an enraged Paulie attacks, only to be run through by a single finger thrust, Shigan. Lucci then describes how the agents have forged their bodies into weapons through endless training, mastering the techniques collectively called the Six Powers.

As Lucci moves to finish Paulie, Luffy unleashes Gomu Gomu no Gatling, but the blows glance off thanks to Tekkai. Closing the gap with Soru, Lucci drives a Shigan into Luffy's neck, a strike the rubber body alone lets him survive. Luffy drags Paulie back to his crew and reminds CP9 that they swore to stop anyone trying to kill Iceburg. Pressed to explain why she would leave, Robin says staying with them would forever bar the dream she values above all else, and she strikes at Iceburg to keep him from interfering.

Lucci warns that flames will swallow the mansion within two minutes, calling fire an efficient way to erase evidence, and advises the pirates to flee while Kalifa, Kaku, and Blueno prepare to engage them. Asked by Zoro whether he accepts Robin's departure, Luffy answers that he does not, and the four steel themselves for battle. The cover continues the Gedatsu serial.
