Chapter 361

While Chopper and the carpenters keep hunting for the missing Luffy and Zoro, Rob Lucci insists the departure happen ahead of schedule, claiming he feels nothing about quitting Water 7. A whistle blasts early because the train carries no ordinary travelers, and the sound spurs both Nami and Paulie toward Blue Station. Sanji reaches the platform just as the locomotive begins rolling away.

Nami sprints onto the dock seconds too late and crumples to her knees as the train disappears, with Paulie catching up beside her. Aboard the carriages, Robin quietly recalls the day she joined the Straw Hat crew. When a towering swell suddenly breaks across the station, Paulie scoops up Nami and the two workers and bolts up the stairs, saving them all. He notes that the surging tides are behaving strangely this year.

A Galley-La worker hands Nami a note left in the station square by Sanji, revealing that he, Usopp, and Franky have all boarded the Sea Train. Sanji also leaves behind a portable Den Den Mushi so he can stay in contact, and Nami becomes certain the crew can still reach Enies Lobby. Refusing to be left behind, she begs Paulie for a vessel, but he flatly warns that no small boat could endure the raging Aqua Laguna. On the train itself, a Government employee opens a door and spots a soaked, irritated Sanji, who instantly boots the man back inside a coach packed with World Government staff.

This year's Aqua Laguna is described as unusually massive and erratic compared to its normal scale.
