Summary

Fear of the incoming Buster Call has everyone bolting from the island, and yet Robin turns and sprints back toward where she started. Spandam calls out that nothing but dead pirates waits for her, unsheathing Funkfreed and catching her with an Ivory Dart, wedged tight between the elephant blade's tusk and its trunk. Down at the water, Franky has pulled the unconscious reindeer from the sea and pumps the water out of him; Chopper is small again but will not wake. Fretting over how he might reach the Gate of Justice, Franky finds his answer when Kokoro turns up with her granddaughter and their cat to guide him. He remembers Nami slipping him a young Den Den Mushi along with two keys, then hands the reindeer to Kokoro and hurries off.

Key Events

Deeper in the tower, an impatient Jabra gripes about lost time, drawing a scolding from Nami aimed at both her swordsman and her sniper, who promptly call each other idiots. Kaku opens with Rankyaku Sen, which Zoro slices apart; a thrust at the neck misses when Kaku bends clear, bragging about the muscle he trained to steer his giraffe neck, and he follows up with Bigan that Zoro turns aside. Sogeking then throws down a challenge, only for Jabra to drop his key at the sniper's feet and profess a loathing of blood. Ignoring Nami's cry of a trap, Sogeking reaches down and eats a Jusshigan that flings him into the wall. His Himawariboshi whiffs against Soru, Jabra boots his head into the stone, and just as the finishing strike comes, Sanji flies in with a temple kick that hurls the agent across the room. Pressed for a name, the cook answers that he is the hunter.

Notes

The reindeer regains his usual form here, and the bout pitting Zoro against Kaku begins. Usopp, fighting as Sogeking, loses to Jabra, after which the cook takes over the clash. On the cover, wary of any further escapes, the marines haul off the last of their captives from the disbanded criminal syndicate, four prisoners in all counting Crocodile plus the three officer agents, sending the group to the planet's most secure jail, Impel Down.
