At the Franky House, the family is stunned and then relieved to find the Enies Lobby news report omits them entirely, sparing them the government's pursuit. The Straw Hats suspect either Garp or, as Robin privately guesses, Aokiji arranged their omission, while Zoro notes the crew's own deeds were splashed across the paper in vivid detail, guaranteeing higher bounties. Nami despairs over their spent funds until learning the money went toward the party feast.

With the ship slated to take five days, the crew relaxes and restocks. Once the Log Pose locks on, Kokoro reveals their next stop is the undersea Fish-Man Island, thrilling Sanji with dreams of mermaids but unsettling Nami. Kokoro warns they must first cross the Florian Triangle, where over a hundred ships vanish yearly and are later found empty, terrifying some and exciting Luffy.
