A ship dismantler hailing from Water 7, Zambai once stood as Franky's right-hand man within the Franky Family. He started out as a minor foe of the Straw Hats, turned ally during the Enies Lobby raid, and after the timeskip signed on with the Galley-La Company.
Zambai stands tall, his long black hair usually spiking upward over a wide grin. His everyday look is the Franky Family kit of goggles, gloves, and suspenders worn with leg stockings, plus shamrock tattoos on each shoulder. For much of the CP9 arc he was wrapped in bandages, short a front tooth, with one goggle lens shattered to bare his eye, all from the scuffle with the Straw Hats. Following the timeskip he traded up to a Galley-La cap and shirt, intact goggles, shorts over stockings, big boots, and roller-skates, his lost tooth filled back in.
Confident in his own power and genuinely brave, Zambai will pick a fight with any opponent however fearsome, as he proved by charging Baskerville without hesitation. He shows little pity for the pirates the Franky Family shakes down, yet he cares enormously about his own crew. When the moment calls for it he can forgive, letting go of his anger at the Straw Hats to aid Franky, and a childish side surfaces too, like the time he and others played at being the Straw Hats. His devotion to Franky ran deep enough that he addressed him as Aniki and would do anything for his sake.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Within the Franky Family, Zambai ranks as one of the stronger fighters at both close and long range. His arsenal is a bazooka together with two katanas, and he handles each with skill. He helped take down Kashii and traded blows with all three of Baskerville before the Marines hemmed the group in. As a child he saw the maiden run of the Puffing Tom, dreamed of building ships, fell short, and ended up heading a gang of back-street toughs until Franky thrashed them and absorbed them into his family.
Across the Water 7 events, Zambai's gang preyed on the Straw Hats, stealing their cash and beating Usopp, which goaded Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper into demolishing the Franky House. After Lucci and CP9 felled him while hunting Franky, he recovered and begged Luffy to bring the Franky Family along on the mission to save Robin. At Enies Lobby he spearheaded the rush to open the main gate, fought the giants Oimo and Kashii, and later took on Baskerville alongside Paulie before fleeing the burning island aboard the sea train.
Once a bounty landed on Franky, Zambai pleaded for the Straw Hats to take him, then all but forced his unwilling boss to go, flinging down his belongings and watching the Thousand Sunny depart in tears. He went on to rebuild the Franky House and accept a job from Iceburg. Past the timeskip, he formed Zambai's Company Union under Galley-La together with Kiev and Tamagon, peddling ships and cola.
After Franky departed with the Straw Hats, Zambai rebuilt the Franky House and took a job from Iceburg, later forming Zambai's Company Union under the Galley-La Company with Kiev and Tamagon to sell ships and cola.
