Chapter 460

Climbing toward the mansion, the crew debates how to reclaim their stolen shadows. Luffy insists they need not hunt down their individual zombies, since the graveyard old man hinted that beating Gecko Moria would restore everything. The group divides: Luffy heads for Moria, Sanji and Usopp split off to save Nami from Absalom, and Zoro joins Franky to check on Brook and meet the legendary samurai. Usopp hands each member a pouch of salt and warns that the fog could break at any moment, making sunrise their deadline.

Atop the mast, Oars surveys the island and decides he will claim it as his own ship and become Pirate King. Inside, Hildon alerts Moria, Hogback, and Perona that the three shadowless pirates have awakened and know the zombies' salt weakness, throwing the lesser zombies into a panic. With Absalom busy at his wedding and the general zombies attending it, Perona volunteers to weaken the intruders using her ghosts so the soldier zombies can finish them. As the crew battles through hordes, ghosts strike Luffy and Sanji, flooding them with negativity until their captors grab them.

Oars suddenly leaps from the mast onto the bridge, shattering both levels and dropping Usopp and Sanji to the lower section. Zoro and Franky, facing a massive obstruction, stab and shoot at what they take for a wall, until Usopp stops them: the looming barrier is actually Luffy's enormous zombie. The chapter marks the Straw Hats fully engaging the agents of Thriller Bark. The cover shows Enel standing victorious over the wrecked Space Pirates.
