Kizaru vs. Four Captains

Franky, Usopp, and Brook dodge another blast from the Pacifista, dumbfounded by its weaponry. When it spots and fires on them, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji rush in with a combined Mouton Jet Thirty-Six Pound Cannon, hurling the figure into a building. Nami and Chopper gape at their crewmates' strength, but Robin cautions that a Warlord will not fall so simply. Zoro shares his hunch that this Kuma is a counterfeit, which would mean several copies as strong as the real one.

At Grove 24, Urouge tells his Kuma that it has changed and, in his swollen form, pounds it with Inga Zarashi until it slams into a wall. Hawkins puzzles over the sudden surge in Urouge's power when a beam of light pierces Urouge, fired by the Pacifista. X Drake recognizes the laser as Kizaru's signature. The Admiral steps in, inviting Drake to fight, and Drake's hands become claws that grip the Pacifista's arm. Apoo thrills at the sight of an Ancient Zoan as a dinosaur silhouette bites into the machine's head, drawing blood, before the Pacifista's laser bores through the beast's shoulder.

Drake reverts to human form, intrigued that the Pacifista bled red. Kizaru reminds Urouge of his presence and kicks him at light speed through a row of buildings. Hawkins transforms into a scarecrow-like figure he calls the Devil-Conquering Phase and slashes at the Admiral, who blinks away, reappears before him, and fires light through two fingers into his eyes, blinding him; since the attack did not pass through, Kizaru deduces Hawkins is a Paramecia.

As Kizaru prepares to finish him, Apoo interrupts with music, drumming on his own head and chest and using his teeth as a keyboard, announcing himself as the Roar of the Sea. The soundwaves sever Kizaru's arm, startling the Admiral, and a final beat makes Kizaru burst into flames.

The cover shows Jabra and Blueno about to bowl amid a commotion, and notably draws Jabra without his mustache. The chapter reveals the Devil Fruits of all four captains involved: Hawkins's straw manipulation, X Drake's Allosaurus Ancient Zoan, plus the abilities of Urouge and Apoo. The events adapt into anime Episode 402.
