As they argue over exploring, Usopp glimpses a smiling winged woman perched on a chimney who promptly takes flight, leaving him unsure of what he saw.

In a locked cell, Franky, Sanji, Nami, and Chopper piece together that sleeping gas felled them and that Brook is missing. A voice from the corner reveals a man's head split into eight scattered pieces; the group reassembles it, briefly mismatching hair and chin. The head, a Wano samurai who cannot explain his own survival, clashes with Nami over manners before warming to them slightly.
