Summary

Out on the water near Dressrosa, Giolla of the Trebol Army keeps hammering the Straw Hat crew. Four of them, among them Nami and Brook, are already trapped in her bizarre artwork, and the rest cannot keep her from doing the same to their ship. Their home becomes a useless sculpture, and any escape from the island is now cut off.

Far from the sea, inside the Corrida Colosseum, a heavily wounded Ricky waves off every offer of care, ignoring Rebecca when she urges him to be treated. A memory of a kneeling figure and a small child flashes through his mind, and he privately asks her to pardon him as he limps away. Over in the Donquixote stand-by room, Diamante informs Bellamy that Luffy has joined the bracket and passes along Doflamingo's offer: kill the boy and a position among the Family's officers will follow.

From the seats above, Cavendish and Bartolomeo discuss the fighter going by Lucy, with Bartolomeo implying his interest stretches beyond what Cavendish guesses. Within C Block, the Elbaf giant Hajrudin clears all challengers while shouting his hunger for the Mera Mera no Mi. Luffy, having broken in a death-row bull he calls Ucy, charges the giant, gets pounded into the dirt, then bounces upright and ends the match with a single punch to Hajrudin's face.

Key Events

The aged Donquixote member is identified as Giolla of the Trebol Army. Her Ato Ato no Mi converts both living beings and objects into abstract art. By the time the chapter opens she has already done this to Chopper, Brook, Nami, the young Momonosuke, and the ship as well, which leaves the craft unable to set sail. Doflamingo's instruction to her is to take Momonosuke captive.

Ricky seems to recognize Rebecca from when she was a child, something she does not realize. Bellamy is handed the order to murder Luffy and clearly struggles with it. Bartolomeo admits he knows of Cavendish's plan to slay Lucy, while his own bond to Luffy stays hidden. Luffy nicknames the tamed bull Ucy shortly before Hajrudin flattens the two of them. The giant declares he means to rule over every giant, then loses to one strike from Luffy.
