Chapter 825

On the deck of Big Mom's ship, Vito tries to draw Sanji into talk about a newspaper strip in which a Marine champion named Sora duels Germa 66. Designed to glorify the Marines as propaganda, the comic instead turned Vito into a Germa devotee, and he is delighted to stand before a member of the family that leads them. Resenting any tie to the group, Sanji insists he is unconnected to it and grows more and more irritated as Vito dogs his every step.

When Sanji withdraws to his quarters, Vito trails after him, and a caged Caesar grumbles about his own lot while the cook is treated as a guest ahead of the alliance wedding. Sanji shoves Vito out, which sets off the killer Gotti, who readies a strike until a woman cautions that any harm to the cook would land punishment on their leader Bege. Gotti grovels under her scolding, and as the two go, Sanji catches something oddly familiar in her face.

Days afterward, Luffy's group swelters under a brutal sun with nothing to eat, the heat hitting the minks hardest. Luffy reels in a fish, but its skin is toxic and drops him near death before Chopper can warn him, though Nami later prepares it safely using the cook's recipe. A ringing Den Den Mushi marks their entry into Big Mom's seas, and before they can conceal themselves a vessel looms out of the mist. Pekoms recognizes it as Germa 66, and a hooded figure with the cook's distinctive eyebrows gazes down at the crew.
