Overview

Voiced aloud as Germa Double-Six and nicknamed the Warmongers, the group wears two hats at once. It is the fighting arm of the Germa Kingdom, and it also hires itself out for coin within the Underworld, with the ruling Vinsmoke Family calling every shot. A planned marriage between the Charlotte and Vinsmoke houses was meant to tie the outfit to the Big Mom Pirates, but the arrangement soured into open enmity once Big Mom's side let its scheme slip.

Across the globe, most people know the name only as the enemy army of Sora, a fictional Marine hero starring in a newspaper propaganda serial. That fame bred doubt about whether the force even existed, and Nami herself waved it off as a mythical evil army. Even Cozia, a nation Germa was actively assaulting, was stunned to learn it was real. Yet in the Underworld and the seas where it has campaigned, both its reality and its dreaded name are common knowledge.

Role

Two threads run through its work, one of state conquest and one of paid slaughter. On the conquest side it staged the Conquest of Four Nations, striking down four monarchs whose realms lay in the North Blue. As guns for hire, it once ended Broc Coli Island's civil conflict, a fight already dragging into its second year, within four hours while committing only a fraction of its ranks. The Vinsmoke commanders weigh each contract by its payout, yet they draw the line at arming both sides of a single war.

Technology is the real engine of their dominance. Ceaseless warfare lets the army sharpen sophisticated weaponry, gear so prized that the Four Emperors member Big Mom chased an alliance purely to get at it. The Vinsmoke siblings, who command the troops just below their father, are genetically altered humans whose gifts leave ordinary people far behind, and they battle in Raid Suits paired with boots that let them hover, spring across long gaps, and multiply their kicks. Mobile enough to cross the Red Line and reach the New World, the force ranges through both the East Blue and its North Blue homeland, and it once shattered a ten-thousand-strong unit led by Charlotte Nusstorte. Rank-and-file soldiers dress in grey suits stamped with an orange 66, white pointed cowls, thin goggles, and black headphones, and the numeral 66 recurs on their banners, belts, and tattoos.

Notable Members

Leadership sits with the Vinsmoke Family, its patriarch Vinsmoke Judge holding the supreme command while his children direct the ranks beneath him. Each carries a color-coded label: Reiju as Poison Pink, Ichiji as Sparking Red, Niji as Electric Blue, Yonji as Winch Green, and the runaway Sanji as Stealth Black. Though Sanji cut his ties, outsiders like the Big Mom Pirates kept treating him as one of them. Behind the fighters stands a Scientific Unit of researchers laboring under Judge, the true wellspring of the army's power, which produced its Clone Army and engineered the siblings into perfect warriors, much of it extending work Judge once pursued alongside the World Government scientist Vegapunk.

The soldiers seen today are manufactured clones raised inside culture-fluid capsules within the Soldier Stock Depot in the Vinsmoke Castle, sorted into physique types and drilled without rest. Programmed for total obedience, they will throw their lives away to shield a commander on the flimsiest pretext. During Whole Cake Island, Reiju cured Luffy of his poisoning, Ichiji and Niji ended the Broc Coli war, and the family eventually turned against Big Mom's crew, suiting up to cover the Straw Hats' retreat before arriving at Cacao Island to pull Luffy and Sanji out of danger.
