Nekomamushi radios the Polar Tang group about his and Marco's landing. Denjiro snares Sasaki in the south, Usopp and Chopper lure Big Mom away in the west, and as Nami's trio sneaks into the fortress they are cornered by Prometheus. Elsewhere, Ulti and Page One tumble out in front of Luffy.

Kanjuro hurls Momonosuke down, branding him unworthy of Oden's name, as Black Maria scoops the boy up and chides the cruelty. Fukurokuju reports the three ships sent against the rebels never returned, though no enemy fleet was sighted at port. Marco's discarded message to Luffy is revealed to read that he is sorry to be late but will arrive. Denjiro exposes the Kouzuki crest on his back to a stunned Sasaki and splits his men into assault and infiltration teams. Big Mom, peering from her changing room, locks eyes with Chopper as the samurai dive underwater.

Orochi resolves to crucify Momonosuke on stage as the last of the Kouzuki line. Black Maria abandons the search for Yamato to drink with Kaidou and Orochi. Marco's last-minute decision to come renders his delivered message pointless, so Nekomamushi tosses it.
