Tanktop Racer

A protective racer's helmet tops his short-cropped hair, the detail that gives him his name. His build is the usual heavy muscle, dressed in a pale singlet trimmed in dark edging with a bold letter R stamped across the chest.

The manga offers no real window into his character.

Racer joins the army's hunt for the Hero Hunter, watching Garou drop Tanktop Vegetarian and later both Mumen Rider and Tanktop Master before the whole squad is beaten and hospitalized. He trades blows with Monster Association intruders in the hospital corridors, then, moved by his leader's example, sets off for Z-City to aid the wounded. There he clears survivors from the rubble and joins the swarm on a spent Garou, which Zombieman and King put a stop to. He is present at A-City headquarters when Tatsumaki battles Apollo underground, heading to the lower floors after the alarm. Later he shows for the 37th tanktop meeting, meets recruits Hyottoko, Gasmask Cowboy, and Studless, and rushes with the group to Y-City, where the Forest King nearly finishes them before Genos intervenes. On another occasion he answers McCoy's call to a monster rampaging the Z-City police station, only to arrive after Saitama has already dealt with it. When the giant machine descends on headquarters, he joins the futile push against its drones and stands down once Metal Knight's rebuilding plan is exposed. He fights bare-fisted at close range, favoring the Tanktop Tackle, and holds a license good for engines up to 50 cc.
