Rockabilly rides with the army after the Hero Hunter, seeing Garou flatten Tanktop Vegetarian and then both Mumen Rider and Tanktop Master, a clash that ends with the squad hospitalized. He battles Monster Association attackers in the hospital hallways. During the fight against the fused Psykos and Orochi in Z-City, he gathers the group at a mark Tanktop Master left in the hospital wall with his Tanktop Tackle, treating it as a memorial, before they head out after their leader. He helps pull the wounded from the Z-City rubble and joins the mob against a weakened Garou, broken up by Zombieman and King. He is on hand at A-City headquarters when Tatsumaki fights Apollo below ground, investigating the lower floors once the alarm goes off. At the 37th tanktop meeting he greets recruits Hyottoko, Gasmask Cowboy, and Studless, then races with the others to Y-City, where the Forest King nearly kills them all before Genos arrives. He also joins the failed stand against the machine bearing down on headquarters, standing down after Metal Knight's aim is revealed. He fights unarmed and up close with the Tanktop Tackle, and he supplements his hero pay with gigs as a traveling guitarist.
