Tanktop Vegetarian once served as the second-in-command of the Tank Topper Army and an A-Class Rank 9 hero. A meat-shunning strongman, he is best known for the beatings Garou handed him, which broke his spirit and drove him out of the hero business.
Red runs through his look, from his short crop of hair to the crimson singlet dotted with green leaf designs. He is a tall, muscular man, standing around 215 centimeters and weighing roughly 122 kilograms.
True to his name, he lives on vegetables and swears off meat entirely. As a senior figure in the army, he took obvious pride in his tank top, treating it as a badge of heroic honor. That pride collapsed after Garou thrashed him along with the rest of the squad, leaving his hero spirit in pieces.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Garou ambushes Vegetarian in a back alley, and after eating the first hit the hero demands to know his attacker's intent before announcing his A-Class status. Garou, who stumbled on him by luck and figures he makes a fine trophy, quickly overwhelms and knocks him out, leaving him lying in the alley. Vegetarian resurfaces alongside the army and Mumen Rider to face Garou again, stepping up to sarcastically thank the Hero Hunter for the earlier beating, only to take a punch to the face and drop unconscious once more. It later comes out that these defeats pushed him to quit the Hero Association for good. As an A-Class hero and the group's second-in-command, he was likely its strongest member behind Tanktop Master, his enhanced strength drawn, the story claims, from the mix of his tank top and the nutrition of his vegetable diet. His close-range style leans on grappling and wrestling holds. He is held in such regard within the army that an insult aimed at him counts as an insult to Tanktop Master himself.
