Torajirou, styled Sergeant Fashion, presides as head judge of the Hero Costume Contest. Loud in dress and harsher in opinion, he rates people by their clothing alone, a habit even a life-saving rescue struggles to shake.
A middle-aged man, Torajirou gathers his hair into an unusually broad ponytail and keeps sunglasses on his face. His taste runs flamboyant: a polka-dotted business suit over a white shirt, finished with a bow tie, a wristwatch, and pierced ears.
Torajirou is severely judgmental, dispensing brutal critiques at the contest and sizing people up entirely by their wardrobe rather than their character. He sneers at Saitama's getup despite his own garish sense of style. His son Torao eventually confronts him over the clothes he handed down, prompting a shift in how he views others, yet the change goes only so far. Even after Saitama saves his life, he stays ungrateful, fixated on the ridiculous outfit and unwilling to credit the rescue or his own dreadful taste.
Torajirou features in the extra chapter Sense as one of the contest's head judges, seated beside Natalie Ver. 9 and Cleyopatra. He hands Darkness Blade a score of two and tells him to view himself more objectively to spare himself embarrassment. When Saitama takes the stage as the final entrant, Torajirou brushes off the costume and judges the man by it. Just as he prepares his score, Game-Berus storms the stadium, downing several heroes and closing on the judges until Saitama steps in and kills the monster with a single punch. Even with his life spared and the crowd won over, Torajirou still awards Saitama only one point. Afterward he catches sight of his son and questions his clothes, and Torao explains that he dislikes the outfits his father gave him and urges him to rethink how he judges people. Despite it all, Torajirou keeps his disdain for Saitama purely over the costume, unmoved by the fact that the hero saved him. He has no abilities beyond those of an ordinary person.
Torajirou, known as Sergeant Fashion, is the head judge of the Hero Costume Contest who rates every contestant harshly based purely on their clothing.
Torajirou awards Saitama only one point in the Hero Costume Contest, judging his plain outfit poorly even after Saitama saves his life from Game-Berus.
Yes. Torajirou is the father of Torao, whose garish taste in clothing he imposed on his son, and the two later have a confrontation about it at the stadium.
Torajirou is a middle-aged man with hair gathered into a broad ponytail and sunglasses, dressed flamboyantly in a polka-dotted business suit, bow tie, and wristwatch.
Not really. Even after Saitama kills Game-Berus to save his life, Torajirou remains ungrateful and stays fixated on judging Saitama's costume rather than acknowledging the rescue.
