The style traces back to the master Suicho, who both invented it and passed it on. He practices it himself, and it lives mainly through his two grandchildren, Suiryu and Suiko, who carry the form into their own fights.

The central aim is to wring the greatest force from each blow while never letting the rhythm of attacks slacken. Fighters manage this through constant rotation and torque, motions that hold or raise the damage without costing speed or count. A further principle has the user shifting their own center of gravity to serve both offense and defense, though the full workings of that idea remain unexplained.

Several named techniques branch off the form. The Void Sky Dragon Fist looses a flurry of punches so violent that it spins Suiryu through the air like a tornado, the raining blows keeping him aloft and turning; Suiko manages an equivalent with kicks. The Void Shaking Tiger Fist plants the lead foot and drives off the ground to load a gut-crushing uppercut, splitting the floor with the footwork, and Suiryu names it his most powerful strike, claiming it can pulverize a truck. The Void Ascending Phoenix Fist adds a twisting wind-up that broke through the armored body of a monsterized Choze, while Suiko's Void Revolving Tortoise Fist mirrors the Sky Dragon technique and can smash a Hero Association training robot. The Void Blinding Snake Fist slices foes apart with a snaking hand motion.
