Chapter 153: The Line

Bang remarks on Garou's pitiful condition and commits to fighting his former disciple at full strength. Their exchange is closely matched, and when Garou manages to draw blood, Bang concedes the young man has grown far worthier of his teachings.

After their strikes fail to harm Fuhrer Ugly, the monster aims his Full Body Melting Punch at Atomic Samurai and Nichirin. Spring Mustachio and Iaian rush in, and Amahare throws himself between them, kicking Atomic Samurai and Iaian clear while Nichirin shoves his own student aside. The acid punch kills Amahare instantly and dissolves Nichirin from the waist down. Near death, Nichirin activates his mythical pearl to call forth the legendary Sun Blade, entrusting it to Atomic Samurai and asking him to seek out the Moon Blade. He tells Spring Mustachio to walk his own path before slipping away, leaving his student devastated.

Meanwhile Black Sperm warns Fuhrer Ugly not to devour his clones. The monster instead declares he will keep them as livestock to eat at will, provoking Black Sperm's fury. Noting that the heroes have been ground down, Black Sperm begins fusing his cells into Golden Sperm, a mighty entity built from an enormous quantity of them. Once formed, Golden Sperm swiftly overwhelms Fuhrer Ugly, declaring the creature's digestive fluids useless against his anticorrosive golden body.

Bang fights Garou at full power and acknowledges his growth. Amahare sacrifices himself to save Atomic Samurai and Iaian from Fuhrer Ugly's acid. The dying Nichirin summons the Sun Blade and passes it to Atomic Samurai with a charge to find the Moon Blade. Black Sperm fuses into Golden Sperm, who thrashes Fuhrer Ugly for crossing the line.

The chapter appears in Volume 30 within the Monster Association Arc, with Garou and Bang on the cover. A volume bonus page shows Golden Sperm striking a dramatic pose to flaunt his gleaming physique. It has no direct webcomic counterpart and was released on June 26, 2021.
