The forty-third chapter pits Fubuki's psychic assault against an utterly unbothered Saitama, whose lecture on heroism drives her to tears just as Genos and Sonic's clash nearly catches her in the crossfire.
With her subordinates already beaten, Fubuki turns her psychic power on Saitama, who registers no alarm at the display. She lets loose a technique named Hell Storm, capable of splintering bone and shredding flesh, yet Saitama simply appears behind her and lectures her on what it means to be a hero. Stung by his words, she pours out a flurry of techniques, none of which touch him. In desperation she lunges with a box cutter, only to end up between Genos and Speed-o'-Sound Sonic as their attacks collide. She barely escapes the blast, saved only because Saitama moves to shield her from the explosion. Afterward she meets Genos and is stunned to hear he is Saitama's disciple, and when Sonic hurls an Exploding Shuriken at Genos, it does nothing.
Fubuki unleashes Hell Storm and a barrage of psychic techniques, all useless against Saitama. Saitama shields her from the Genos-Sonic explosion after she attacks him with a box cutter. Fubuki learns Genos is Saitama's disciple, and Sonic's Exploding Shuriken fails to harm Genos.
This Volume 9 chapter continues the Blizzard Group Arc and adapts into Episode 14. Its cover features Fubuki alongside Saitama, Eyelashes, and Mountain Ape. The Viz edition titles it Don't Dis Heroes!. It corresponds to Chapter 48 of the webcomic and was published on January 23, 2015.
