Chapter 98: Speedster

Superalloy Darkshine, Crescent Eyebroll, and Feather mop up the last of the monsters while Double Hole and Green tend to the wounded Needle Star. Sekingar and Child Emperor start a speech only to be cut short by Mizuki and Gearsper, who struggle to haul Pig God down the stairs into the Monster Association. Atomic Samurai lends a hand and reassures his nervous pupil Iaian.

Underground, Gyoro Gyoro berates the monsters that fled the surface clash, executing the cowards and feeding their remains to Orochi before ordering the rest to press their assigned attacks. The S-Class heroes advance along separate routes with Atomic Samurai's disciples in tow. Checking the data on his transmitter, Flashy Flash cuts down a cluster of monsters instantly, then meets Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind. The pair compliments his speed, but he tries at once to kill them and fails. As they battle, Flash probes for their backer, and Wind guesses the organ trader Aburabozu, only for Flash to reveal he already killed that man along with a string of other criminals, from a drug kingpin to the heads of an assassin coalition. Wind boasts of their village's ambition to rule the world, and when Flash demands their real shapes, the two assume monster forms and disclose their disaster rating of Dragon.

Titled Speedster, this Volume 21 chapter of the Monster Association Arc released on September 10, 2018, with Flashy Flash on the cover. It adapts the first pages of webcomic chapter 60 and spans Episodes 31 and 32. The chapter follows The Decision Is? and leads into Instant.
