History
Tetsukan joins Team Dai-Gurren from Littner Village early in the surface war and remains with the crew through the fall of Teppelin. Following the seven-year timeskip he shifts into research work under Leeron. In the epilogue, twenty years further on, he serves under Viral's command aboard the Super Galaxy Dai-Gurren, working side by side with Cybela Coutaud.
Role
His station is the Dai-Gurren's control team, where his particular duty is watching over the great ship's condition. Credited as an engineer, he brings a technical skill set that carries him naturally into Leeron's scientific division once the fighting ends.
Notes
The alternate-universe sequence in Episode 26 shows him asleep in bed beside Cybela, hinting that the two are involved, or that at least one of them wishes they were. He appears from Episode 2 through Episode 27, voiced by Takahiro Mizushima in Japanese and Tony Oliver in English.
