Mechanics

The manga keeps the change instant: Usagi raises her arms, says the words, and stands transformed a moment later. The anime builds a fuller sequence, opening on the Cosmic Heart Compact as she passes her hand over it to reveal a pink heart-shaped crystal that flares with light. Set inside a pale blue heart, she spins as pink ribbons wrap her into her gloves, boots, and leotard, and the heart itself becomes her skirt before her tiara appears and she poses. Crystal adds a full moon, nails shifting to soft pink, a sparkling brooch, and closes on a spread of red roses against a crescent.

Notable Users

Sailor Moon is the sole user. This command was the last to summon her original sailor uniform, and it brought two changes to her look: a gold heart charm on the choker and a crescent moon where her tiara gem had been. Episode 92 introduced a revised sequence that fixed an animation error with the floating blue heart and adjusted the final pose's coloring, and that version carried the rest of the run. The Korean dub spliced in footage from other transformations depending on the episode.
