Furau is a shape-shifting monster serving Jadeite in the first Sailor Moon anime series. Posing as the manager of a late-night radio program, she siphons life energy from lovestruck listeners through enchanted flower brooches mailed out to fans of the show.
In her true state she is a humanoid figure with skin washed in pale blue and purple, offset by brown hair and a dark star set on her forehead. A blue toga drapes her frame. This monstrous look stays hidden behind an ordinary human guise for most of her scheme.
Furau works by deception rather than brute force at first, blending into a media role to exploit the emotions of her audience. She specifically targets affection, treating the romantic longing of listeners as a harvestable resource, and only turns openly aggressive once her cover is stripped away.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
After Jadeite identifies a fresh supply of human energy tied to the feeling of love, the pair launch a midnight write-in show on a Tokyo station called Midnight Zero, inviting listeners to send in love letters. Disguised as the station's manager, Furau rewards fans whose letters get read on air by J-Dite by mailing them flower brooches loaded with dark energy, which quietly drain them. As the broadcast gains a devoted female following, victims multiply; Usagi first notices something wrong when her teacher Haruna Sakurada dozes off mid-lesson, and soon Naru Osaka and Usagi herself succumb. Roused by Luna, Usagi looks into the station and is ambushed by Furau, who casts off her human shell and fires bursts of dark energy from her breath, shattering the recording booth glass. The battle spills onto the roof, where Sailor Moon throws Moon Tiara Action; the disc misses on its way out but slices Furau in two as it loops back.
