Gamecen

Gamecen's frame is bright red, topped by a helmet through which his red eyes glare. Plating shaped to resemble arcade cabinets covers much of his body, tying his design directly to the game-center theme behind his name, itself a shortened form of the Japanese words for game center.

He carries himself as a boastful mechanical brawler who repeatedly barks his own name while fighting, a quirk that later becomes a running trait for the show's monsters. Built for arcade-style aggression, he attacks with the blunt showmanship of a rigged machine, and even his destruction comes with a shouted catchphrase.

Gamecen begins as the essence trapped inside the red Rainbow Crystal, reborn through an arcade champion known as Crane Game Joe. In the twenty-fifth episode Zoisite draws the crystal out of Joe and reshapes him into Gamecen, a champion for the Dark Kingdom, whose hands can morph into a mallet or extend a crane-like claw. When Makoto Kino hurls the monster to the ground, the emblem of Jupiter surfaces on her brow; Luna hands her a Transformation Pen, and as Sailor Jupiter she cuts through his circuitry with Supreme Thunder. As he struggles back up, Luna passes the Moon Stick to Sailor Moon, whose Moon Healing Escalation restores Joe to himself and unmakes the monster housed within him.
