Sailor Coronis

Her uniform keeps to the plain template shared by many planetary guardians: a pleated skirt, a sailor collar, and a choker at the throat. A single strap crosses her back in the shape of an X. Long dark hair falls well past her shoulders.

As the Sailor Guardian assigned to Coronis, she watched over the same world that later sent the raven-linked twins Phobos and Deimos, plus the Animamate called Lead Crow, out into the wider galaxy. Her end comes at Lead Crow's hands. Lead Crow claims her Star Seed and carries it to Galaxia, hoping the trophy will earn a place in Shadow Galactica's ranks.

Coronis herself never turns up in the present day. Her one on-page moment is a brief flashback during Act 53 Stars 4, shown while Lead Crow taunts Phobos and Deimos at the Hikawa Shrine and boasts about the killing. Learning that both their guardian and their homeworld are gone stuns the twins, and they let their guard drop. Kou Yaten names her once more in Act 54 Stars 5, listing her beside the other fallen protectors Chuu, Mermaid, and Mau, each of whom had watched over the homeworld of a different Animamate.

Coronis is a genuine Sailor Guardian, a magical warrior charged with a single planet in the same way the Solar System senshi guard their own. That standing gives her Star Seed real worth, which is exactly why Lead Crow hunts and kills her for it. Her name also carries the crow motif that ties her world to Phobos, Deimos, and Lead Crow, since Coronis is a Greek word for that dark bird. She holds a grim distinction as well: the only guardian slain by Shadow Galactica whose likeness the manga ever actually shows.
