History
A high jumper whose meets were regularly televised, Shun had grown famous enough to draw devoted fans, among them Mimete and Hotaru Tomoe. After he set a fresh Japanese record on air, Mimete singled him out and headed to his training stadium to claim his Pure Heart Crystal. Usagi, Chibiusa, Hotaru, and the Outer Guardians turned up so Hotaru could deliver a fan letter in person. When Shun noticed Usagi and Hotaru being chased by bodyguards, he came over to investigate, though Hotaru froze and could not hand over her note. Mimete seized the opening, sending the Daimon U-Ndoukai to scatter the guards before stealing Shun's crystal. Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon intervened, and after the fight his heart was restored. He later spoke with Hotaru, the two traded words of encouragement, and he closed the episode by setting yet another record.
