Wan-Wan

His natural shape is that of a dog-like humanoid, dressed in dark robes and crowned with a pointed, cone-shaped hat trimmed with beads and stamped with a crescent moon emblem. His hair falls in dark braids beneath it.

To slip past the guardian, he adopts a canine alias called Luna-chan. In that form he is a small pup whose forehead bears a crescent marking close enough to fool onlookers into mistaking him for the real Luna. Fur gathers into a little topknot between his pointed ears, a fluffy tail trails behind him, and a slim spotted ribbon circles his neck.

Wan-Wan is the eldest of a trio of siblings that includes Nyan-Nyan and Chuu-Chuu. When he learns that Sailor V has killed Nyan-Nyan, he sets out for vengeance. Concealing himself as a harmless puppy, he is bought by Marie Buraidaru and christened Luna for the crescent shape on his brow. The ruse produces an awkward twist when Artemis falls for his puppy persona, assuming the dog is female, then takes the discovery of his true sex hard.

His revenge ends at the point of Sailor V's V-chan Katana Strike, which kills him. His remaining sister, Chuu-Chuu, resolves to settle the score for both him and Nyan-Nyan.

His central scheme is built around commerce: by peddling pets to unsuspecting owners, he means to siphon off human energy. Backing that plan is a shapeshifting talent that lets him take the shape of an ordinary dog, the disguise that carries him into Marie's household as Luna-chan.
