The Death Busters regroup under the Witches 5, and their agent Eudial launches a fresh hunt for pure heart crystals at a summer festival. The battle takes a turn when a small newcomer, Sailor Chibi Moon, drops in to make her first stand alongside the guardians.

Summary
The fourteenth episode of the S season opens the Witches 5 chapter and marks the first appearance of Sailor Chibi Moon. With Kaolinite dead, Professor Tomoe recruits Eudial, who pinpoints a new victim by computer while the professor debuts his Heart Snatcher Oven to churn out the Daimon Soiya.
Key Events
Eudial roars out of a subway entrance in her car to reach her mark, then blasts the heart crystal free. Usagi and Rei transform to intervene, and Eudial answers by unleashing Soiya. Uranus and Neptune sweep in to secure the crystal, but finding it is not the talisman they want, they leave, and Eudial abandons the fight as well.
Left against Soiya and losing ground, the guardians get sudden help from Sailor Chibi Moon, who stuns the Daimon long enough for a Moon Spiral Heart Attack to destroy it. In the aftermath Chibiusa watches the fireworks with Usagi and explains she has come back from the future to finish her training as a guardian, before the two slip straight into their familiar bickering.

Notes
This is Chibiusa's first appearance in Sailor Moon S and the final use of the signature music for the Mars Star Power transformation. The Heart Snatcher Oven replaces Tomoe's earlier practice of brewing Daimon eggs in beakers, and shadowed cameos of later Witches 5 members turn up here. The CWi dub renamed the Juban summer festival and softened several of Rei's comic reactions.
