Soiya ranks among the Daimon foot soldiers the Death Busters unleash during the Sailor Moon S storyline. Themed after a rowdy Japanese summer festival, this creature turns celebration into a weapon, forcing opponents to dance beneath bursting fireworks before sealing them away inside heavy drums.
This Daimon carries the trappings of a summer street festival wherever it goes. Its skin is a cool blue, topped by a shock of jagged crimson hair, and its clothing matches the garb worn at seasonal celebrations across Japan. Rather than fight bare-handed, it hauls around a portable shrine, or mikoshi, swinging the heavy object as its chief instrument of combat.
Everything about Soiya revolves around festival mischief turned hostile. The creature can set off dazzling pyrotechnics that compel its targets into an uncontrollable dance, robbing them of their footing in a fight. It also traps captives within the hollow bodies of drums, using the very props of a celebration to imprison the Sailor Guardians it was built to destroy.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Professor Tomoe fashioned this Daimon out of an ordinary drum, after which Eudial dispatched it to strike at the Sailor Guardians. Notably, the extraction of Maya Tohno's Pure Heart was Eudial's own doing rather than Soiya's; the monster's assignment was simply to overwhelm Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars. It came close to winning that clash. The tide turned when Chibiusa arrived as Sailor Chibi Moon and struck with Pink Sugar Heart Attack, leaving Sailor Moon free to end the fight using Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Soiya shares its voice actor with the Daimon Taiyan.
