Carolina Reaper

Carolina Reaper cut a tall figure, his full lips painted with black lipstick beneath a red pompadour twisted into the shape of a chili pepper. Bandages studded with hair clips wrapped his forehead, concealing burn scars and a pair of pupilless eyes. He wore a dark brown jacket with layered sleeves and a high collar that fell open at the neck to reveal a yellow shirt printed with an explosion, finished off with black pants and shoes.

Blunt and short-tempered, Carolina Reaper stayed outwardly calm yet spoke rudely to allies and foes alike, and his brother's masochism plainly grated on him. That irritation masked a deep possessiveness: he insisted on being the sole source of Club Jam's suffering, so once the JAA captured his brother he burned with fury at this rival cause of pain far more than any genuine worry for Club Jam's safety. For all his fiery gimmick, he could not stand spicy food, spitting out a pepper after a single bite.

As one of Slur's subordinates in the assault on the JCC, Carolina Reaper ranked among the powerful and dangerous fighters in the group. His strength let him seize Mafuyu Seba by the throat and wring pain from the teenager, and his speed carried him clear of even a casual swing from Kanaguri. His trademark, achieved by means the story never explains, was the ability to breathe and spit fire, which he used to incinerate a line of JAA guards, though every burst scorched his own mouth and left him reaching for water.
